You can officially kiss people over the internet. That’s right, I said it. The Kajimoto Laboratory at the University of Electro-Communications has created a device which consists of a hardware receptacle which is placed into the mouth, and software that remembers the movements of your tongue and sends them to the other connected device, which moves accordingly.

Of course there’s a lot more to kissing than the movement of the tongue – despite the importance of said movement – the Lab intends to recreate every element of kissing. Cyber makeout sessions will never be the same.

Who could’ve known that the group to outdo Kanye would be TV On The Radio? Today TV On The Radio released their album-length film on YouTube which features every song from their new album Nine Types of Light. Kanye’s Runaway video was 35-minutes long.

Eleven hours of flight time from San Francisco to Paris all smashed in to this 2 minute time lapse video. The video is made up of 2,459 photos and one was shot every two miles!

2011 is still fresh in our minds and there is a lot happening at Fridge. Check out our fun and delightful video that does a great job of simplifying of “What is Fridge?” made by our friends at grumomedia.com

We had a slew of updates over the last few weeks and are a few useful tips:

Each Fridge has a dedicated email address for members to post directly and reply to messages (i.e. demo@post.frid.ge)

Create a passcode for your group and invite only who you want to see your photos and messages using the group URL (i.e. www.frid.ge/photostream, passcode: fridgephotos)

Invite your friends from your Gmail contact list (others coming soon!)
